For Keira Knightley, spring fever brought with it an exuberant new take on monochromatic makeup. The actress was spotted on the set of her film, Collateral Beauty, in Manhattan yesterday with her trademark warm nudes traded in for a tone-on-tone palette of pinks that resonated with her outfit: a swirl of rosy blush blended to full apple-cheeked effect, along with a dab of fuchsia lipstick that looked like it had been pressed into the lips with a fingertip, then left to wear into a soft stain.
Paired with lived-in waves that sported a halo of wind-whipped flyaways, the look projected everything that is good and right about spending the day outdoors. After a long, dreary winter, what could possibly be prettier?
