Between the disco curls at Diane von Furstenberg, bombshell manes at Versace, and slick power ponytails at Balmain, it’s safe to say that Gigi Hadid’s hair could use a day off from flatirons and teasing combs. Spotted in Paris yesterday, the model stepped out with slept-in waves that looked like she had returned to the hotel from the Balmain after-party, washed out an ungodly amount of mousse, and collapsed into her bed with wet hair. It’s the kind of move that, depending on your luck, can result in exquisitely bendy bedhead or a hot lopsided mess. But we’ll never know which way it went, because Hadid tried fashion’s favorite works-every-time hair upgrade: a half-up bun, which gets errant strands up and out of the way while still celebrating every sweater-weather-ready inch. Add to that a pair of sunglasses, and an Insta-ready brunch look is all but guaranteed.
