While the hyper-glamorous allure of la Parisienne defined the city’s best runways this season, the best beauty moments on the streets showed off a healthy mix of edge and I-woke-up-like-this insouciance. Dior’s black currant pouts and slicked-back, side-parted buns offered optimal postshow moments for models like Kendall Jenner and more, all of whom finished off the look with oversize aviators, while Vetements’s DIY chops looked right at home on the sidewalks. Natural texture was a theme for hair of all types, whether sky-high kinks or soft, fuzzy waves and everything in between. And matte, poppy red pouts were seemingly everywhere, adding a splash of ladylike whimsy to the scene. From great skin and smiles to cool-girl cornrows, the best looks in Paris closed fashion month on a fresh, directional note—and for our part, we’re looking forward to trying them all this spring.
