Burberry marked its first see-now-buy-now show today by reprising a few of the house’s most iconic beauty statements: soft washes of nude makeup, tousled ’70s waves—and eyelash-skimming bangs that also staged a comeback in the front row.

With her fringe falling into wispy pieces, model Edie Campbell’s grown-out rocker shag offered the It Brit’s answer to the ubiquitous shoulder-skimming chop, while Felicity Jones’s smooth tapered set channeled a ladylike elegance spiked with a hint of Marianne Faithfull edge. But perhaps the freshest impulse to pick up the shears came courtesy of actress Sofia Boutella, whose textured microbangs emphasized yet another marker of a Burberry muse: bushy, brushed-up power brows.
