Considering that a super-blonde dye job can channel anyone from an Old Hollywood vamp to Kurt Cobain, it’s no surprise that noted chameleon Kristen Stewart has taken her bleached shag to the next level.
The actress was spotted at the New York Film Festival last night with her almost-platinum hair brightened to an icier hue that still sported a few fine champagne streaks. Add to that her slick, dapper knot and matte bordeaux mouth, and the effect was part young Annie Lennox, part Thin White Duke—and took Stewart one step closer to that elusive arctic shade of snowy blonde. Purple shampoo, anyone?
