The terror of cowlicks notwithstanding, what often tips the scales toward a definitive no when it comes to the should-I-get-bangs question is the fear that a straight curtain will lock in your look with few opportunities for variety. Enter Dakota Johnson, who not only knows how to work every inch of her shoulder-length chop, but offers living proof that even a blunt fringe lends itself to endless reinvention.
