Diane Kruger, Jeanne Damas, and More Think Pink at Valentino

Diane Kruger

While Valentino red, that iconic shade of fiery-yet-cool crimson that embodies everything that is good and right about Parisian elegance, returned to models’ cherry lips on the house’s runway today, front row stars like Diane Kruger were thinking pink.

Germany’s chicest export watched the show with a pale pink lip stain offsetting a soft haze of eyeliner, a shade that felt as fresh as Lily Collins’s flushed cheeks and matching tulip mouth (not to mention her freshly snipped set of impishly uneven bangs). Even Jeanne Damas, who has practically turned the anytime, anywhere ruby pout into a way of life, was in the mood for a change, taking her seat with a bold, straight-from-the-tube swipe of fuchsia.

Above, three reasons to live la vie en rose this fall.
