Just when we were ready to welcome the cooler months with swirls of rosy blush and the occasional swipe of deep plum lipstick, along comes Clémence Poésy with a look so sunny it’s sending us into end-of-summer denial. Spotted in London last night, with a warm palette of thick golden highlights, sun-bleached brows, and pale beige lips, it was as though her entire look was calibrated to her tawny glow. Not that fall’s siren call for a little extra polish had fallen on deaf ears: Against a pale background of nude eyeshadow, her generously defined top and bottom lashes packed twice the punch, delivering a well-timed piece of advice for monochromatic makeup devotees: No need to ditch the bronzer, but double up on mascara.
