9 Cannabis Beauty Products to Bring to Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg’s Potluck Party

cannabis

Tonight, Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg will join forces to launch a beautiful new venture: Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, a VH1 series that will combine cooking and freewheeling conversation. Of course, the word potluck provides a coy wink to the proverbial elephant in the room (read: marijuana), and the rapidly legalizing substance will no doubt play a part in each weekly installment. Why not grab one of the growing wave of cannabis-infused beauty products to slather on while you soak it all in?

Not to be confused with salves containing psychoactive, legally murky THC, these offerings make the most of the plant’s other attributes. There’s Marley Natural’s hemp-seed-based body-care line, its plumping lip balm blended with rich cocoa butter and Vitamin E, while Apothecanna’s soothing body spray is formulated with arnica, peppermint, juniper, clove, and hemp-derived CBD, chosen for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities to ease sore muscles and joints. Hydrating hand creams from Dr. Sebagh and The Body Shop rely on hemp seed oil’s high concentration of fatty acids, as do Little Barn Apothecary’s handcrafted lemongrass and mint body oil and Dr. Bronner’s sweet shaving soap. Then there’s that singular scent, which comes bottled by Fresh as an accord complemented by heady Bulgarian rose, and tossed into a neat cleansing gel by Malin + Goetz. Here, nine products that won’t get you high, but remain a thoroughly intoxicating investment.
