As beach days become less of a deskbound daydream and more of a just-around-the-corner reality, our favorite Instagram beauty looks have taken on a lightness that’s reflective of the sunnier times ahead. Willow Smith took to a sandy shore to show off toned limbs, her signature mane of baby dreads—worn half up, half down for a bit of extra texture—and (what else?) a ukulele. More literally light was Karlie Kloss, who stopped by the Joffrey Ballet to strike an airy arabesque pose in pas de deux with principal dancer Fabrice Calmels.

But it was Chloë Sevigny’s #Sakura snapshot that really captured the essence of the season. The actress shook out her golden blonde lengths while savoring the delicate beauty of Japan’s cherry blossoms. Fresh blooms and bright manes? Consider us springtime’s biggest fans.
