How do you get into character? On Instagram this week, some of our favorite celebrities wove tales to illuminate the beauty photos they posted. Rita Ora joked that her straightener had broken, sharing a straight-faced photo of her blond hair teased out into a luminous afro. January Jones captured our attention with a hair dye before-and-after, saying she was going “#backtomyroots” by taking her hair from blond to strawberry (“Call me ‘Frenchie’” was her character-driven caption). Georgia May Jagger posed in a military uniform on set with a horse named Mr. Bean, teasing our imaginations about what the Rimmel London ad she was shooting will look like. Meanwhile, Karlie Kloss was snapped running past Notre Dame in Paris, playfully adding “running from the hunchback!” under the picture. But perhaps the best character reprise was that of Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, who brought their Zoolander 2 selves to the Valentino show in Paris. Check out Stiller’s selfie—it’s gorgeous, darling.
