Today at Diane von Furstenberg’s Fall 2016 presentation, which traded up the traditional runway show in favor of an intimate gathering at her Meatpacking offices, Irina Shayk, Lily Aldridge, Taylor Hill, Jourdan Dunn, and Xiao Wen Ju swayed and twirled to Sister Sledge’s “We Are Family” and Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean,” draped themselves over lip-shaped sofas, and tore up papers in a faux office. From their smiles and laughter, it was clear they felt confident. “That’s the thing for Diane,” said Shayk. “She wants all the girls to feel [like] themselves—a sexy eye and being the woman you want to be.” Indeed, with free-flowing bespoke ’70s hairstyles created by Orlando Pita backstage, eye-enhancing makeup from Pat McGrath, and a megawatt red manicure from Nails Inc., Von Furstenberg had zeroed in on what makes the supermodels feel their most beautiful on Valentine’s Day. As proof, Shayk confessed, “Tonight, since I’ve had my makeup done by Pat, I’ll definitely keep it!” Before they headed back out into the night, we asked the supermodel cast to share the real life beauty tricks they turn to when they’re getting ready for a date night.
