Spotted yesterday in Paris, where she’s filming the third installment of the Fifty Shades franchise, Fifty Shades Freed, Johnson showcased her toned abs by way of a denim-on-denim ensemble that showed just enough skin to take the crop-top trend from steel-cut badge of honor into easier—and dare we say chicer—territory. Flashing just a swath of milky above-the-navel skin, it seems Johnson is taking a page from the tried-but-not-too-hard French-girl playbook. Her makeup echoed the sentiment, with good sunglasses standing in for elaborate eye makeup while doubling the impact of her creamy pink lipstick. And isn’t that what the laissez-faire-yet-impeccably-elegant paradox is all about?
