This Family Duo Proves That Mommy-and-Me Beauty Isn’t Just for the Girls

The fashion set may be teeming with mother-daughter duos that could pass for sisters, but it takes special finesse to calibrate your hairstyle to your son’s without sending him on a quest to destroy all photographic evidence years from now.

Delivering one of summer’s cutest twinning moments, Kelly Rowland and her 1-year-old son, Titan Jewell Witherspoon, rocked matching cornrows in West Hollywood yesterday.

It’s not the first time they’ve synced up their looks: Earlier in the month, the two were spotted wearing his-and-hers hats, with Titan slipping a baseball cap over his curls while his mom topped her ponytail with a sleek fedora. And offering a less matchy-matchy way to riff on your date’s look that even grown men could get behind, Rowland hit the green carpet at Safe Kids Day with her long hair woven into a wraparound braid while her toddler sported a cloud of frothy curls.
