The spring runways’ seventies nostalgia inspired its fair share of bohemian middle parts, offering up a flattering symmetry that lends itself to the surprising range of styles spotted from Cannes to New York City this week. Lily Donaldson attended a dinner party in Manhattan with neatly divided waves that were swept into an easy knot. Also at the Michael Kors–hosted fete, Kate Hudson and Clémence Poésy showed off a breezier take on evening glamour with their flaxen manes roughed up into slept-in pieces. Liya Kebede brought a graphic minimalism to the Riviera, treading the red carpet at the Mad Max: Fury Road premiere with a pin-straight blowout that was slicked down the center.
