4 Victoria’s Secret Angels Reveal Their Summer Workouts

If you’re looking to get inspired for ways to break a sweat this summer, look no further than the Victoria’s Secret models. Even when they are off-duty, their Instagrams are dotted with ab shots, antioxidant packed superfoods, and endless bikini-clad snaps. As to how the Angels achieve that eternal beach body–ready selfie state?

“I like to mix up my workouts a lot,” said Elsa Hosk, sitting on her bike at last night’s SoulCycle Fifth Annual Ride for Pelotonia (the grassroots bike tour which raises funds for cancer research). Like fellow Angels Jac Jagaciak, Lais Ribeiro, Jasmine Tookes, and Martha Hunt, who were also in attendance, she puts her feet to the pedal at the New York City spin studio regularly—“SoulCycle is so fun”—while incorporating regular sessions of boxing, barre training, and Pilates into their routines for variety.

Another exercise that the majority of the Angels swear by? Boxing. Hosk and Jagaciak share the same trainer in Kwame Davis. “He’s a professional boxer—not a ‘celebrity trainer.’ And he doesn’t do social media much,” says Jagaciak. “I like that attitude because I come from a very sporty family and it is important that the trainer cares about the sport, not the fame.”

As a less unexpected way to keep their heart rate up, a few of the Angels practice team sports. Lais Ribeiro, who played volleyball for more than seven years, still manages to spike the ball on occasion. “I hit the sand courts!” she says. There is also Hosk, a former professional basketball player, who keeps her swish-skills fresh. “I get nervous about not playing because I used to be good,” she says, before adding that going up against a friend who’s better than you may be the best way to up your game. And Hosk isn’t the only one practicing her jump shot. “I’ve just started getting into basketball! My boyfriend and I have been [playing] together and I feel like I’m an all-right shooter,” says Martha Hunt. “Elsa and I have been talking about going to Brooklyn to start playing together.” A pick-me-up session of layups and three-pointers with the Victoria’s Secret Angels? Count us in.
