How Emma Roberts, Taylor Hill, and More Take Coachella Hair Into Easy New Territory

While there’s no doubt that Coachella remains sacred ground for neo-bohemian beauty statements, this weekend’s three-day extravaganza in Indio, California, saw a return to its come-as-you-are rocker roots. Sure, there was the occasional rainbow dye job, but the intricate braids and flower crowns that we’ve come to expect have given way to a more organic take on festival hair that could be felt in every haphazard knot and slept-in wave.

Emma Roberts took to Instagram with her flaming red hair falling into styled-by-the-breeze pieces that channeled the same unfussy cool as her comfortable kicks. Meanwhile, Victoria’s Secret Angels Josephine Skriver and Taylor Hill basked poolside with their hair whisked into wispy buns.

Grace Mahary was also in the mood for a certain disheveled cool, posting a selfie with her ombré braids unraveling to reveal frayed blonde ends, while Poppy Delevingne’s pastel blush tint felt like it had faded in the desert sun.

From Jasmine Tookes’s textured long bob to Imaan Hammam’s cloud of frothy curls, here are 12 gloriously easy hair upgrades good enough to take back to the city.
