The latest beauty trend to sweep the nation? No, it is not perfectly tousled waves or even a well-chosen flash of glitter. Recently, a lineup of bombshell models, actresses, and designers have taken to Instagram to share photos of their growing baby bumps.
Two days ago, a radiant Olivia Wilde confirmed pregnancy suspicions when she posted a photo of herself sitting cross-legged next to her 2-year-old son, Otis, with “matching baby bumps”—and she’s not the only one celebrating her cool new proportions.
A month after revealing her pregnancy on Instagram, Candice Swanepoel showed off her growing belly while lying on a beach in a crocheted micro-bikini, while fellow Victoria’s Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo traded in her Daisy Dukes for a pair of maternity jeans. Caroline Trentini, already mother to one, chose a hip-hugging Dolce & Gabbana number to display her new curves, and the ever-playful Liv Tyler bared her stomach while out on an afternoon stroll in L.A.
And though we’re not choosing favorites, we can’t help smile at the sight of designer Tori Praver’s snap, which featured the silhouette of a serenely posed Praver, days away from expecting her second child, in LACMA’s Rain Room. Something tells us this yet-to-be-named It-baby generation is destined to be one good-looking bunch.
